How does drone detection work?
3Dev Anti-Drone utilizes a network of intelligent 3Dev Nodes strategically deployed around the protected site or facility. These Nodes operate passively, meaning they can detect and identify drone-related RF transmissions without actively emitting signals. This capability enables them to detect even low-power signals in complex RF environments.The system employs a geolocation technique known as 3D TDOA (Time Difference of Arrival), which allows for the precise determination of the drone’s location in three dimensions: longitude, latitude, and altitude. By analyzing the RF transmissions, 3Dev Anti-Drone can display the current position of the drone as well as its previous flight track.Upon detecting a drone, the system can initiate an alert to notify the security team, enabling them to investigate the situation promptly.
